Pro 400H but it’s Nikon

I’m pleased to share my second Picture Control for Nikon cameras and this one was directly inspired by a highly sought after film stock, Fujifilm Pro 400H.

H-1 has magenta shadows and highlights but a warmer push in the mids giving it that classic Fujicolor look. I designed this new Picture Control to work in a wide variety of settings and like Pro 400H it should be an excellent look for portraits as well as landscapes.

Check out some examples below from when I loaded H-1 into my Nikon Zf and walked around Helen's Wood shooting JPEGs with it...

For the examplee JPEGs above, my other settings were… White Balance set to Natural Light Auto, Film Grain Intensity set to 2, Film Grain Size set to Medium & Active D-Lighting was a mix of Normal & High.
