A Film-Like B&W Picture Control
Introducing my first black & white Picture Control, this is A-X. I based it on the Deep Tone Mono with a Green filter. It’s deep, dark, moody and really film-like.
When creating this Picture Control I took inspiration for the tone from one of my favourite black & white 35mm film stocks, Neopan Acros 100II. Check out some example straight out of camera JPEGs I shot with my Nikon Zf and A-X around the grounds of Grey Abbey…
For the examplee JPEGs above, my other settings were… White Balance set to Natural Light Auto, Film Grain Intensity set to 3, Film Grain Size set to Small & Active D-Lighting was a mix of Off, Low & Normal.
