Starting 2026 with the Original Fujifilm X100

happy new year!

What better way to kick off 2026 than continuing my tradition of charging up my batteries and taking out the original Fujifilm X100 for a photo walk? The Fujifilm X100 range is maybe the most iconic camera series in history, the first iteration was announced in 2010  which means this year in 2026 it will turn 16 years old. Check out what happened when I took this 16 year old (ish) camera out for a photo walk at the beginning of this brand new year…

This year I decided to try something a little different and use my LUTs to edit the RAW images shot with my Fujifilm X100 and see what would happen. If you're a LUMIX shooter and follow my work, you'll probably know all about them. If you're a Fujifilm shooter you might have no clue what I'm on about. Basically in recent LUMIX cameras, you can import LUTs into to bake into you images and I've spent the majority of 2025 designing my own LUTs for this purpose. You can check them all out using the button below..

So I took my X100, shot a bunch of RAWs, imported my LUTs into Lightroom and edited these Fujifilm RAWs using my LUTs. The LUTs I used were ‘Hibiscus’, ‘Neagh’, ‘BONBOA’, ‘Ash’ & ‘Winter’. Check out some of the results from this experiment below…

Enjoyed this post? Why not drop a little something in the ‘Tip Jar’ below as a way of saying thanks! It would be massively appreciated…
