Reggie’s Portra

Reggie’s Portra by Reggie Ballesteros is maybe the most popular Fujifilm recipe ever created, so when Fujify released their LUTs for LUMIX cameras, I just had to try recreate the look for myself!

Reggie’s Portra was designed to be a recipe that can be used in any and every situation whether that’s on the street, night photography, portraits whatever. It’s based on the ever popular Classic Chrome Film Simulation and has the White Balance set to Auto with a slight warm push for flexibility.

Check out the original Fujifilm recipe here - https://reggiebphotography.com/blog/the-most-versatile-fujifilm-x-trans-iv-film-simulation-recipe-reggies-portra

When adapting this look for LUMIX cameras, I chose the Fujify Classic Chrome (CCR: Strong, CCB: Weak) LUT with a base Photo Style of Standard, shifted the WB, bumped the Saturation and set my Grain setting to LOW. The original recipe has a Dynamic Range setting of Auto (which means the Fujifilm camera will choose between DR100/DR200) so on my LUMIX camera I set my iDynamic Range to LOW.

Check out a few examples of my LUMIX version of Reggie’s Portra below…
